Meet Me

Hi, my name is Natalie! I created Thrown for a Lupe to share my story of how life has changed since I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) in January 2013 and Chronic Lyme Disease in April 2017.  On August 1, 2018 I was completely physically healed and I want everyone experiencing chronic illness to come to know this freedom.

I am a child of God, wife to Zach, mama to Brooklyn, Caleb, Emmett, and caretaker of 31 homestead animals! I have degrees in Cell and Molecular Biology and Education as well as a teaching certificate. I spent 7 years teaching public school science, biology, and health sciences before deciding to homeschool my own children and teach online as a homeschool support teacher.
